Maintenance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Technicians will need strong troubleshooting skills and understand pneumatics, industrial electrical, controls systems, and mechanical processes
  • Perform routine and specialized maintenance on highly automated, state-of-the-art glass production equipment. Equipment includes:
    • Tempering furnace
    • Automated cutting system
    • Automated insulating equipment
    • Spacer forming and assembly equipment
  • Preventative maintenance on production and assembly equipment
  • Basic electrical and mechanical understanding
  • Maintaining the appropriate records by recording work orders using CMMS
  • Promptly requesting machine parts by filling out purchase requisitions

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management deem necessary from time to time. 

Qualifications:
  • A two-year degree or equivalent experience in a maintenance-related field is preferred
  • Must have the ability to troubleshoot and repair with strong mechanical aptitude
  • Physically capable of manual labor including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment

Pay Schedule for Day Shift:

  • $27/hour to start, with increases after 3 and 6 months of work

Pay Schedule for Night Shift:

  • $28.50/hour to start, with increases after 3 and 6 months of work
