Balance Personal and Professional Life

By

Productivity is not necessarily determined by the number of hours you work, but rather what you do with your time. Time management is very important. We need to always make time for family and friends, exercise, hobbies and passions, vacations, community, and, at the same time help the organization where you work be better everyday.

Organizations with workaholic cultures, where it is almost a badge of honor to be constantly working, will eventually lose very talented people who cannot sustain a balance between work and life. These individuals eventually burn out under daily pressure while their personal lives suffer. We all should care enough for our own well-being and the well-being of others to not let this happen.

This is especially true for people responsible for setting an example for others. Leaders only become leaders when they have followers. A Leader without balance can destroy an organization, team, and beautiful relationships.

Don't misplace priorities and practice happiness through balancing personal and professional activity. So ends the word of the bird!
